The newly-elected Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western U.S. Central Committee on Wednesday hosted a meet and greet with community organizational leaders at the Krikor and Mariam Karamanoukian Glendale Youth Center.

The evening provided an opportunity for the more than 150 individual gathered at the event to acquaint themselves with the activities of their respective organizations, meet their leaders and exchange ideas on how to assist one another and forge a path of cooperation.
Cooperation and unity were the focal point of the message delivered by ARF Central Committee Chairman Garo Madenlian.
In his remarks, he outlined that one of the main objectives of the body is to bring together all active forces in the community to better confront the challenges facing the homeland and the Nation.
Madenlian said that only through leveraging the unique resources and abilities of each and every organization, and harnessing the capabilities of local chapters, will the community become a strong conduit for advancing the just aspirations of the Armenian Nation.
He pledged the ARF Central Committee’s support for the myriad undertakings and projects of the organizations represented there and encouraged each person to rally behind one another to ensure the advancement of the community and, thus, the Armenian Cause.
The briefed program began with opening remarks by Vache Thomassian, the chair of the ARF Aharonian chapter, in whose center the event was taking place.
Thomassian welcomed the guests to what he called “your home,” emphasizing that Armenian centers serve not only as gathering places, but also a home for the organizations and their members.
String Harmonies provided musical entertainment throughout the evening.
