YEREVAN (Respublica Armenia)–The speaker of the Azeri parliament–Alaskerov–met with Turkish Prime Minister Necmetin Erbakan during his recent visit to Ankara.
According to Turkish TV–Erbakan said during the meeting that Turkey and Azerbaijan’s collaboration should become exemplary for the world. He said that Turkey and Azerbaijan are two countries with one nation–and that Azerbaijan’s problems are also Turkey’s problems and the main problem is Armenian occupation. This problem requires urgent resolution–along with the return of Azeri refugees to the areas of permanent living.
Erbakan also said that internationally–Turkey is making an effort for the fair resolution of the problem.
