YEREVAN (Armenpress)–According to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund–this year Armenia’s foreign debt is expected to exceed $1billion–while incremental increased are forecast for 2003 and 2004.
According to the World Bank Armenia’s Strategic Assistance Program–Armenia’s debt should be controllable together with the further improvement of export conditions.
Nevertheless–the World Bank is still undecided about the release of an International Bank of Re-construction and Development loan for implementation of the aforementioned program.
