On Sunday, January 12, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western US Central Committee organized an event to celebrate the 123rd anniversary of the founding of this national organization, whose mission to serve the Armenian Nation has been at the core of its survival.
We are grateful that the ARF Day celebration was a success with community members converging on the Glendale High School auditorium to fill it to maximum capacity for the celebration. As a result, unfortunately, several hundred of our beloved community members were turned away at the entrance [by Glendale city officials] and thus were unable to join in the celebration and enjoy the program.
We would like to offer our sincerest apologies to those who were unable to attend the celebration and are greatly humbled by the enthusiasm, expression of support and interest in the celebration. This attests to our organization’s broad impact to advance our national interests and aspirations. Nevertheless, we are grateful to our community members who took the time to mark this occasion with us.
We would like to assure you that we have already begun the process of securing a much-larger venue for next year’s celebration and other such events in the future.
Respectfully,
ARF 123rd Anniversary Celebration Committee
