GLENDALE—The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region has extended the deadline to apply for its Executive Internship Program to Wednesday, September 8.
As part of the program, interns will work with directly with the Executive Director, senior ANCA-WR staff, and with the various committees that the ANCA-WR comprises. They will be assigned short-and long-term projects as well as receive issues briefings in fields ranging from Federal and State Affairs, to Community and Public Relations. They will also partake in professional development workshops including resume writing and interview skills, marketing, campus activism, and issues messaging.
“The Executive Internship Program is a dynamic and challenging program that the ANCA-WR is proud to offer to students and graduates who want to become engaged in the civic arena,” said Andrew Kzirian, Chairman of the ANCA-WR Board of Directors. “This internship will provide participants with a great deal of insight into Armenian American issues and the community while preparing them to continue their activism through the ANCA in the months and years to come.”
As part of the program, participants are required to write weekly blog posts about their activities and experiences.
