On Monday–March 30–Armenia and its citizens will be making a critical choice. A choice which will not only be a vote for a person–but rather an election for a national-political course on behalf of our people.
Armenia’s–throughout the world–are attempting to resolve the Karabakh question in its favor–by opposition to certain political forces which aim–under the guise of mutual concessions–to return Karabakh under Azeri rule.
The interests of Armenia and the Armenian people require that the national liberation struggle for Karabakh come to its logical fruition and to bring about a leadership in Armenia which exceptionally defends our national interests and values. Furthermore–this leadership must improve Armenia’s constitution–govern with a pan-Armenian outlook–strengthen Armenia’s economy–make apparent improvemen’s to the socio-economic condition of our homeland–bring an end to widespread bribery and nebulous governmental activity–persecute those furthering shadow economy–create a healthy atmosphere of social justice for all members of society–coordinate the political economic resources of Diaspora Armenia’s–and finally–turn Armenia into the true homeland for all Armenia’s–where our people can live and prosper–where laws govern the nation and not the preferences of individuals or Bolshevik standards.
At this juncture in our history–we cannot be led by nostalgia–we cannot submit our country to the Bolshevik system. It is pertinent to look to the future–so that we can prepare the best country for future generations.
Based on these imperatives–we call on all eligible voters to go to the voting stations in Los Angeles and cast their ballots for Armenia’s prime minister and acting president Robert Kocharian.
