LOS ANGELES—Birds Nest, a photographic essay by Ara Madzounian, on Tuesday released a book trailer for readers to get an early glimpse before its release in November.
The photo essay is an emotional tribute to the photographer’s birthplace, Bourj Hammoud, a Beirut suburb which became home for Armenian Genocide survivors.
Immerse yourself in these photographs that capture the city’s essence and Ara’s intimate relationship with the narrow streets, the sights and sounds, and peculiar characters of Bourj Hammoud.
This book is a tribute to all residents of Bourj Hammoud.
Birds Nest is currently available online to pre-order.
