Representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau visited the U.S. Embassy in Armenia on Monday and met with Ambassador Kristina Kvien.
The delegation was comprised the ARF Bureau chair, Armen Rustamyan, anad members Lilit Galstyan, and Arsen Hambardzumyan.
According to the ARF Bureau press office, Rustamyan briefed Kvien on the political approaches adopted during the 35th ARF World Congress, which concluded last month in Tsakhkatsor, Armenia. He also outlined the priorities of the party.
The ARF Bureau members shared their views and concerns regarding the security issues faced by the Republic of Armenia, emphasizing the importance of the guaranteed and safe return of the Armenians of Artsakh, the release of prisoners of war held in Baku, and the military-political leadership of Artsakh. They also emphasized the importance of political involvement by the international comminity, including the United States, in establishing a stable and just peace in the region.
The ARF Press Office reported that both parties acknowledged the value of such meetings and expressed their willingness to continue exchanging ideas on various political agendas.
