YEREVAN (ARF Press)–Upon the invitation of directors of Russian Institute of Strategic Investigations–a leading Russian state political center–Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau representatives met Wednesday with political analysts representing the political system of Russia.
During the meeting–ARF Bureau representatives Vahan Hovanessian and Albert Ajemian presented the political situation of Southern Caucasus as well as ARF’s positions regarding Armenia’s foreign and domestic policies–the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and the state of Russian-Armenian relations.
The ARF representatives provided detailed answers and explanations to questions about Armenian-Turkish relations–the possibility of Iran-Armenia-Russia’strategic alliance–obstacles to the Karabakh conflict resolution process–issues facing the Armenian population of Javakhk and political developmen’s in Armenia.
Participants in the meeting included officials from the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Caucasus desk–Russian representative to the OSCE Minsk Group–as well as representatives from the Russian National Security Council–Defense Ministry and various governmental organizations–political centers and the media.
