YEREVAN (combined sources)–A delegation led by President Robert Kocharian left for the United States on Wednesday to participate in an investors forum being held in New York for Armenia.
The delegation includes Trade and Industry Minister Karen Chshmaritian–Energy Minister Karen Galustian–Presidential Chief Advisor for Economic Affairs Vahram Nersisiants–Chairman of the Securities Commission Edward Muradian and other officials.
According to the president’s press office–the forum will present Armenia’s economic situation–the process of reforms–and investment possibilities. Armenia will be presented by businessmen in various fields as well as representatives of foreign companies doing business in Armenia
Kocharian is expected to deliver a speech on Thursday.
The gathering is being financed by the World Bank–USAID and the International Financial Corporation.
