Funds raised also help us reach out to those struck with life-threatening diseases and help them find hope in a genetic match, stated ABMDR President, Dr. Jordan. “The invaluable support of community leaders such as Ms. Pelley and Mr. Petre help resonate the message of the registry, its work and the hope it promises,” added Dr. Jordan.

Since December 2000, through cross-national cooperation, the ABMDR has registered over 12,000 donors, received and processed over 780 search requests, identified 480 potential matches, and facilitated six bone marrow and stem cell transplants in Armenia, the United States, and around the world.
