YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)During the "Commonwealth of Independent States Partenariat" forum in Moscow–a number of Armenian enterprises signed preliminary agreemen’s with foreign companies regarding the organization of joint production.
The Director of the Armenian Business Support Center which operates within the TACIS Program said that "Armenmotor,"Tekhnoimpex,"Anoush 7" and "Atex" are only a few of the companies involved in the signing of the agreemen’s.
A. Khachikian said that 22 companies representing various fields of production in Armenia attended the two-day forum. About 270 business meetings were held. Meetings with businessmen from Russia–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan–Moldova–Turkmen’stan–Germany–France–Greece–Holland and Finland proved to be the most beneficial.
Khachikian also said that about 850 companies representing all CIS countries–as well as Bulgaria–Turkey–Mongolia and nearly a dozen other European countries attended the Moscow forum.
The forum was held in the hopes of restoring cooperation as well as establishing business relations in small and medium business.
