YEREVAN (Hayastani Hanrapetutiun)–A delegation of the Ministry of Interior and National Security–headed by Minister Serge Sargsian–left for Moscow Monday–on the invitation of Russian deputy Prime Minister Anatoli Kulikov.
According to the press service of Ministry of Interior and National Security–the goal of the visit is collaboration between corresponding structures of the two countries– struggle against organized crime and drug abuse–development of corresponding legislation. It is expected that interdepartmental agreemen’s will be signed.
At the same time–a delegation of the National Assembly–headed by the chairman of Foreign Relations Committee Hovhannes Igitian–left for Strasbourg–to participate in a regular session of the European Union Interparliamentary Assembly. Among other issues–the problem of refugees in Transcaucasia will be discussed.
