Armenian Genocide Monument in Valance, France Desecrated

VALENCE, France (ArmRadio)–The Armenian Genocide memorial monument in Valence, France was desecrated Wednesday night with black graffiti spray painted at its base, reported independent France correspondent Jean Eckian.
In November 2005, Valence became the stage for clashes between the Turkish and Armenian communities of the region.
Since January 2008, seven Armenian genocide memorials have been vandalized. In France, the monumen’s at Saint-Chamond, Creteil, Lyon, and Valence have been desecrated; In the United Kingdom the monument at Cardiff; and the memorials in Budapest, Hungria and Lvov, Ukraine.
