YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– An Armenian delegation led by Health Minister Hayk Nikoghossian attended the most recent session of the World Health Assembly took place in Geneva.
The delegation also participated in plenary meetings and a roundtable discussion. Armenia’s health minister gave a speech wherein he dealt with determining priorities in the public health sector.
Last Thursday–Minister Nikoghossian met with World Health Organization Director General Harlem Brungland. He presented Armenia’s plans of stronger international cooperation in the sphere of public health. The current state of public health in Armenia also became a subject for discussion.
