YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia’s Minister for Regional Government and Coordinating the Operation of Infrastructures–Hovik Abrahamian received the plenipotentiary representative of Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakhk region–Teymuraz Mosiashvili and his delegation. Abrahamian confirmed Armenia’s readiness to support the settlement of social–educational and cultural issues of the Armenian populated Samtskhe-Javakhk province–but stressed that some issues must be solved by the efforts of the government of the province and Georgia.
Expressing gratitude to Armenia’s government for its approach and efforts directed towards the settlement of problems in the Samtskhe-Javakhk province–and for its readiness to continue the support–Mosiashvili said that the Georgian government pays special attention to this province and problems of Javakhk Armenia’s.
Presently–the Georgian government is working on a program of social and economic development in the province.
