YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–During a working visit Thursday–Karabakh president Arkady Ghoukassian met with representatives of four main political parties in Armenia.
Participating in the meeting–were Armenian Revolutionary Federation Executive Council of Armenia member Vahan Hovanessian and National Assembly ARF delegation leader David Lokian–National Democratic Union’s Vazgen Manoukian David Vardanyan– as well as representatives of Armenia’s Republican Party and Armenia’s Democratic Party.
According to sources close to the talks–Ghoukassian presented the political representatives with a frank assessment of the latest political occurrences in Karabakh. Ghoukassian also explained to the participants his government’s democratic policies and the course of action undertaken.
The political representatives–emphasizing the latest progress in Armenia and Karabakh in the political realm–declared their parties’ suipport for the elected government of Nagorno-Karabakh.
All participants agreed that similar meetings would be necessary to expand on existing relationships.
