By Haig Kayserian SYDNEY–Hamazkayin Arshak and Sophie Galstaun School in Sydney–Australia is a small institution with an enrollment of about 112 students in grades 7th through 12th. The students recently had their year-end final exams and the results were exceptional.
The Australian Board of Studies ranked the top 600 schools in the state of New South Wales–and Hamazkayin Arshak and Sophie Galstaun Armenian School came in 37th–emulating the already impressive 78th position it held last year. The school’s name was published in The Daily Telegraph (the most popular Australian newspaper). The small school is highly regarded as one of the top educational institutions in New South Wales–and this is a big achievement for the Armenian community in Sydney.
