GLENDALE–Eighteen Armenian youngsters are included in this year’s edition of the Glendale News-Press–Jr. Top 103–a list of the oustanding young people in the Verdugo communities. Some of the youngsters in the list were nominated by readers–while others were chosen by the staff of the Glndale News-Press. Brief descritpions were given of each younster along with a picture and a list of accomplishmen’s. Many kids were chosen for their performance in the classroom–while others for thier extra-curricular and volunteer work. Ages ranged from a few months to eighteen years of age.
Among those chosen were Sona Chilingaryan ,18–of Hoover High School–Edit Khachatryan–18–of Hoover High School–Alen and Alin Melik-Adamyan–ages 11 and 9 respectively–from Columbus Elementary School–Natalie Narssiyian–14–from Crescenta Valley High–Michael Khanlarian–17–Hoover High School–Selin Stepanian–16–Hoover High–Zarine Khatchatryan–15–Hoover High–Michael Keshishian–15–Clark Magnet School–Daniel Movsesian–10–Mountain View Elementary School–Mishel Sarksyan–5–Columbus Elementary School–Aleen Balbanian–17–Hoover High School–Annette Stepanian–17–Hoover High School–Elanie Tsaghikian–6–Columbus Elementary School–Gayane Arabyan–17–Hoover High School–Ani Khondkaryan–18–Glendale High School–Anoosh Khachikyan–7–Columbus Elementary School–Vardges Ejuryan–16–Hoover High School.
