Since its establishment, the Armenian Relief Society has been striving to support Armenian students by providing scholarships to ensure they can pursue their studies. The ARS Scholarship program aims to cultivate a new generation of professionals who, upon earning their university degrees, will serve both their communities and the homeland.
For many years, the ARS Central Executive Board has awarded scholarships to students who met all requirements and submitted applications. For the 2024-2025 academic year, $39,000 scholarships were granted to the highest-scoring 30 students across 13 countries.
The ARS would like to express its deep gratitude to the benefactors behind the “Eremian,” “Jizmjian,” “Baghdoyan,” “Balounian,” “Kalaydjian,” “Vartan Gregorian,” and “Janet Markarian” funds, whose generous contributions have made these scholarships possible.
As the ARS celebrates its 115th anniversary, the ARS CEB is reaching out to its benefactors and supporters for generous donations. All contributions will help the organization continue its efforts in assisting a more significant number of students through the ARS Scholarship and support a more substantial number of Armenian students worldwide. Legacy donations, which will enable the ARS to continue its efforts, are also welcome. To donate, please visit the website.
