YEREVAN (ArmRadio)–The Azerbaijani said has again failed to attend a planned OSCE monitoring mission at the Armenia-Azerbaijan frontier, reported the Armenian Defense Ministry’s press office.
The Azerbaijani side did not appear at the meeting, saying the Ministry of Foreign affairs has not provided security guarantees for their representative.
The monitoring mission, which was scheduled for Thursday near the border village of Chinar in Armenia’s Tavoush Marz comes after a series of Azeri ceasefire violations in mid June left two villagers in the area dead.
The monitoring mission was to be conducted by the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and attended by representatives from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
