BAKU (News.az)—Soldiers from Azerbaijan will attend infantry captain training in San Antonia, Texas, despite an announcement last month by the Azeri Defense Ministry that it had canceled the joint program.
Official Baku at the time gave no reason for terminating the program, but news reports suggested the move came in response to US support of Armenia’s decision to freeze its rapprochement with Turkey. Baku has also accused Washington of taking sides with Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
The training, which was to began in March, will resume and last until the same month next year.
According to News.az, Azeri servicemen will also take part in several upcoming NATO events in May, including the Sea Breaze 2010 Conference in Odessa, training courses for military medics in Kaunas, and a meeting of the IPAP 28+1.

I can only guess were that training is going to be used. I like how Armenians serve in “the war on terror” but the Turks don’t.Azeries get vacation time in Texas and Kansas and Armenians don’t. Is there nothing America will do for Armenia that it won’t do for others
