Bahraini Terrorism Suspect Arrested in Yerevan Airport

YEREVAN (Tert.am) — A Bahraini citizen suspected of terrorism was arrested at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport on the night of January 1.
The man, identified as Fadhel R, 26, was taken to the General Department of Criminal Investigation after being caught at 11:00pm Yerevan time.
According to the official website of the Armenian Police, the man was on the international wanted list over accusations of attempted murder, illegal circulation of explosives, damage to public and private property, mass disorder and terrorism.
Fadhel R was subsequently detained and taken to the Yerevan City Police Department. The Prosecutor General’s Office and the National Interpol Center have been reported on the incident.

    It has to be investigated who had put him on the wanted list. If it’s the Bahraini government, then this has to be taken with a grain of salt: The man may simply be a dissident.
