YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A delegation of the Christian Solidarity International led by Vice-Speaker of the House of Lords of the British Parliament Baroness Caroline Cox arrived in Nagorno Karabakh Friday on a charity mission. The delegation includes journalists–rescue service experts and education specialists.
The delegation met with prime minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Gerard Poghossian. Members of Caroline Cox’ delegation briefly presented their assistance programs–which are aimed at the socio-economic status–education sectors–and the introduction of new methods rescue service work.
A group of doctors who visited Artsakh last year sent medical equipment and supplies worth $500,000 for the Karabakh rehabilitation center and other medical establishmen’s.
Journalists of the London-based "Christian Newspaper" publication visited military units in Karabakh.
