GLENDALE—The newly appointed Board of Regents of Prelacy Armenian Schools, which was appointed by the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, held its first meeting on Wednesday, August 15.
The first meeting of the Board of Regents was attended by Executive Council Chairperson, Rima Boghossian, and Executive Council representative to the Board of Regents, George Chorbajian. On behalf of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, Boghossian welcomed and congratulated the newly appointed Board members and wished them success in their educational mission.
During the meeting the Board unanimously elected its officers as follows:

In the upcoming weeks, the Board of Regents will appoint the members of the local School Boards.
The Board of Regents is the governing body of the Western Prelacy Armenian Schools, and during its first meeting began planning its projects and goals for the upcoming two years.
