YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Books on the Armenian Genocide will be presented at the “Cultural Neighborhood” international book exhibition in Istanbul on November 1-9.

An Armenian delegation will present 150 books and albums in the event’s pavilion, with a special section of books on the Armenian Genocide.

A separate section will also be dedicated to the works of William Saroyan, the head of the Association of Armenian Printers, Vahan Khachatrian, who will said Wednesday.

Khachatrian, who will be representing Armenia at the book exhibit, said that Turkey authors expressed much interest in Armenian books during the Grankfurt book fair in early October.

As a result, he said, an agreement has been reached with the Turkish “Pen-Club” publishing house to print an anthology of contemporary Armenian poems in Turkish. The anthology will present the works of 20 contemporary Armenian poets.
