YEREVAN–Transport ministers from member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization will arrive in Yerevan on Wednesday for a two day summit focusing on transport links between Europe and the Black Sea region, Hetq reported Tuestday.
Ministers from Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine are expected to attend the meeting, according to the Armenian Transport and Communication Ministry. Representatives from other international transport organizations and foreign embassies are also expected to participate.
Armenia assumed the chairmanship of the BSEC last November and has focusing on streamlining several issues, primarily dealing with energy cooperation between the BSEC member countries. The six month rotating chairmanship is set to end in April.
