The Burbank High School (BHS) Armenian Club advisor, Laura Messian noted, “Making decisions about college is difficult. It is important for young people to receive this information from other young, and a people peer on peer exchange can help put it into perspective.”
Fellow BHS Armenian Club member, Arvin Setaghaian, added, “I encourage all students to come out and gain this information, it’s a great experience.”
In addition to representatives from schools and universities the Burbank Police Department also had a booth to provide information about possible opportunities in law enforcement.

Burbank Mayor Jess A. Talamentes attended the event and praised the ANC Burbank on their efforts to educate students on career and educational opportunities.
The office of Congressman Adam Schiff, D- District 29, CA, whose district includes the City of Burbank, was also represented at the event. Mary Hovagimian, the district representative of Adam Schiff said, “ I think this fair is a very good opportunity for young people. It should be hosted on an annual basis.
