GLENDALE–Organized by inclumbent Robert Kocharian’s California Campaign headquarters–a public gathering was held on Sunday–March 2 at St. Mary’s Church hall in Glendale.
Eduard Jouharyan from Horizon TV opened the evening and presented the panelists: Karabagh Parliament member and Security Commission chair Artur Mossiyan –ARF Karabagh Central Committee representative Vahan Badassian–"Hai Giank" editor Apo Chabarian–writer-publicist Khoren Aramuni and Prof. Vahe Kaputchian.
In discussing the presidential elections–particularly the upcoming March 5 run-off between Robert Kocharian and Stepan Demirchian–speakers agreed that the incumbent president is the only candidate who is capable of pursuing national interests both internally and internationally.
On behalf of Armenian Revolutionary Federation–Artur Mosiyan iterated ARF’s endorsement of Kocharian based on the fact that no other political leader is skilled and experienced enough to keep the stability obtained to date–and resolve Armenia’s outstanding problems.
The participants concluded that among the two candidates in the run-off–Kocharian is the true favorite based on his work during his first 5-year term.

In conclusion–Prof. Kaputchian called on everyone to be united and vote their conscience in the March 5 run-offs.
