Gran’s $250,000 to the Armenian Cultural Foundation The Carolan family has once again shown its support to the Armenian Cultural Foundation with a $250,000 grant in memory of the late Richard Carolan–announced the Central Committee of the ARF–Western USA.
Mrs. Tina Carolan and son Richard Carolan–Jr. presented the donation in memory of their husband and father–Richard Carolan who believed in the necessity and value of promoting Armenian issues in the United States. Always close to the Armenian community and its institutions–the late Mr. Carolan continuously supported the undertakings of the community both morally and financially and always generously. This latest donation by the Carolan Family continues Mr. Carolan’s tradition of fervent advocacy of Armenian issues.
The Carolans have made many unselfish donations in the past. In fact–one such grant enabled construction of the Central Committee building-the Peshekerian Center named in memory of Tina Carolan’s late parents Mr. & Mrs. Kerop and Lussik Peshekerian.
The Carolan Family has also presented large grants to area Armenian schools, the Armenian Prelacy, The Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, to Armenia and to Artsakh.
