CRESCENTA VALLEY, Calif.,–Chamlian Armenian School will soon have its two computer labs equipped with brand new Dell desktops, enabling the campus to continue providing a cutting edge information technology curriculum to its students.

After conducting a needs assessment, the School Board and the IT (Information Technology) team, headed by Mr.Zareh Movsesian, a Chamlian parent and an IT Systems Engineer with Southern California Edison, made its formal recommendation to the School Board.

Negotiations were then made with Dell Computers, headquartered in Austin, Texas, and soon after, the first batch of 65 Dell Optiplex 380 computers were delivered on Monday, August 13.

“From day one, it has been a pleasure working with Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School. Dell Financial Services is proud to have their business. I appreciate the time spent putting the Lease Agreement in place and I hope that we will continue working together on future projects,” said Michelle Root, Financial Sales Representative of Dell.

Presently, Norayr Tahmazian, Chamlian’s computer technician, is working diligently to get the labs ready for opening day.

”It brings me great joy to witness Chamlian Armenian School’s commitment to the role of technology in the education of our children. This latest acquisition of Dell computers by the School is yet another testament to that fact. These workstations will meet the computing needs of our students as they learn, explore and broaden their horizons,” said Movsessian.
