YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–In hopes to improve the system of public health in Yerevan–the parliament decided to remove the first children’s hospital–which operates under unsatisfactory conditions and occupies 4,812 sq. meters. The polyclinic will be rebuilt adjacent to Manuk polyclinic. The vacated building will be privatized and the funds from privatization will be used to help provide new housing to the people who live in the old–worn-out apartmen’s of Yerevan.
According to the government’s Public Relations department–when the Children’s Clinical Hospital N1 CSJC and the Manuk polyclinic CJSC unite–they will be known as the Manuk Clinical Hospital CJSC.
