YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The construction of Holy Trinity Church is continuing in the South/Western residential district of Yerevan. According to Vazgen Petrossian–the top manager of the "Yerevanshin" building Co.–the church will be ready for its official opening in December 2002.

The church is being constructed in the image of the masterpiece of Armenian architecture of the 7th century–the Zvartnots–temple whose ruins are preserved in a suburb of Yerevan. The project will be financed by Louis Simon-Manoogian–a philanthropist from the US–who will allocate nearly 1.5 million dollars for the construction.
