Cyprus Parliament Head to Visit Armenia

YEREVAN (ArmRadio)–The President of the Cypriot House of Representatives, Marios Garoyan, is set to arrive in Yerevan on Wednesday for talks on cooperation between the two countries’ parliamen’s.

Garoyan, who will head an official delegation to Armenia, is scheduled to address the Armenian National Assembly Wednesday, after which he will hold official talks with National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan. Garoyan is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

Garoyan will meet with President Serzh Sarkiaian and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Thursday.

According to Garoyan’s press office, he plans to lay flowers at the Dzidzernagapert Armenian Genocide Memorial.

Marios Garoyan is expected to make a speech at the National Assembly, after which he will have a meeting with the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan. Members of the Cypriot delegation ill meet with members of the Armenian side of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission between the National Assembly of Armenia and the House of Representatives of Cyprus.
