YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–On February 12–the new Ambassador of Denmark to Armenia Martin Kofodi (residence in Kiev) handed his credentials to President Robert Kocharian.
According to the presidential press service–the participants in the meeting expressed their mutual desire regarding expanded relations between the two countries–and stressed their readiness to strengthen them with practical steps. President Kocharian stressed the importance of developing cooperation with Denmark–both at the bilateral level and in the context of European policy. He expressed his assurance that the accreditation of the ambassador will create a possibility for more active contacts and–with his immediate participation–interaction between the two countries will become more dynamic and effective.
