YEREVAN (RFE/RL)-Detained Opposition Republic Party Executive Council Member Suren Sureniantz ended on Saturday a 10-day hunger strike, the Justice Ministry’s Criminal Department Head Arsen Babayan told RFE/RL. Sureniantz’s attorney told reporters late last week that his client was experiencing health issues.
Seven other detained opposition leaders also ended their hunger strikes, while 6 others announced the beginning of their hunger strikes.
