YEREVAN–Armenia’s Diaspora Ministry will be organizing a conference for Diasporans who graduated from Armenia’s universities during the 1960s.
The conference, titled “Assembly of Diaspora Armenian Graduates of Armenian Universities of 1960-1970,” will be held on June 22-23 in Yerevan. The Ministry hopes to use the conference to establish a loose-nit alumni union that will “hold frequent reunions and engage graduates of other years as well,” said a statement from the ministry.
“The assembly is aimed at discussing the role of Diaspora Armenian graduates of Armenian universities in the development of Armenia-Diaspora partnership, as well as creating a pan-Armenian association of Diaspora Armenian graduates,” the ministry said.
The ministry statement invited “all Diaspora Armenian graduates of Armenian universities” during that period to participate in the con and send their commen’s and proposals for discussions.
To participate, send your confirmation letter to the Armenian Diaspora at 26/1 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, 5th floor, Yerevan, Armenia or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
