YEREVAN (Yerkir)-2000 copies of a documentary about the demolition of an ancient Armenian cemetery in Old Djugha (Nakhichevan) were circulated among members of the United States Congress by the Los Angeles based Organization of Armenian Architecture Studies
The copies of the documentary will be shown in Armenian, Russian, English, French and Turkish in 2008. "The documentary made a deep impression. After the Strasbourg screening some Members of Parliament condemned Azerbaijan’s barbaric policy," Samvel Karapetian, a member of the organization said.
The Organization also plans to shoot series of documentaries about the demolition of Armenian historical monumen’s in present-day Turkey and Azerbaijan.
