The Central California Chapter of the Armenian National Committee announced today the beginning of the "Horizon Fresno" Armenian television program. The program will be shown in Fresno. Clovis and Madera on Media One Television.
The first program will air on Wednesday June 4 at 5:30 p.m. The show will contain Armenian local–national and international news. As well as cultural and community events along with Armenian music videos will also be included in the hour long program. Produced by the Horizon headquarters in Los Angeles–the Fresno affiliate will also include local San Joaquin Valley Armenian community news and events. In announcing the new program–ANC Chairwoman Hygo Ohannessian said, "This is an important step for the Armenian community. We have needed our own television program for many years–and this show will keep our community informed of local–national and international events. I am pleased that the Central California ANC could take the lead in putting this effort together."
The show will air every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on Channel 42 in the Fresno–Clovis and Madera areas.
