ATHENS (Itar-Tass)–The Greek and Armenian defense ministers–Akis Tsochatzopoulos and Vagarshak Harutiunyan Monday signed an agreement on defense cooperation. The Armenian defense minister arrived in Greece for a three-day official visit.
According to the document–the defense branches of the two countries will cooperate in military training and research work as well as exchange information. The two sides also discussed problems of regional security.
Following the talks–Tsochatzopoulos emphasized that both Greece and Armenia face foreign threat–which deman’s "increase in deterrence capacities".
