BEIRUT–The Hamzkayin Central Executive has announced the establishment of the "Megerdich and Knar Karakashian Educational Fund" of $50,000 which will be added to the newly founded Hamazkayin Central Fund.
Dr. Adrine Karakashian of Jerusalem and Mr. and Mrs. Nazaret Karakashian of the US/Lebanon decided to establish the fund in memory of their parents–Megerdich and Knar Karakashian–who passed away ten years ago.
Upon the wish of the benefactors–the proceeds from the fund will be awarded to students of Hamazkayin’s Djemaran’schools upper classmen. The Hamazkayin Central Executive hopes more Armenia’s will follow in the footsteps of the Karakashian family–and realize the importance of ensuring the growth of the Hamzkayin Central Fund.
