YEREVAN (Yerkir)–The ninth student forum organized by the Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational Society is set to begin on July 10 in Armenia. Representatives of various youth organizations of Armenia–as well as Armenian students from the Diaspora will participate in the Forum–which will run through July 24.
This year–participants from the United States include Ara Aprahamian–Anne Deukmejian–Lara Golnazarian–Lara Hounanian–Ohan Keuylian–Linda Khatchaturian–Nairi Mahroukian–Soseh Mahroukian–and Haig Zaher. Other participants include ten delegates from Armenia–four from France–one from Greece–five from Lebanon and three from Syria.
For many Armenian students across the globe–the Hamazkayin Summer Forum is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Since its inception in 1995–the Forum has provided a friendly and exciting environment for bright young Armenia’s.
During the two weeks–students get the chance to learn a great deal about Armenian culture–discover the sites and sounds of the host country and most importantly–develop lifelong friendships. Thought-provoking lectures–trips to historic and remarkable destinations–and nights of dancing and entertainment are some of the Forum highlights.
This is the second time the Forum has been held in Armenia.
