LOS ANGELES—Ardy Kassakhian announced on Monday the endorsements of several organizations of nurses and healthcare professionals. They include United Healthcare Workers (UHW), Long Term Healthcare Workers (2015), Public Healthcare Workers (721), and Registered Nurses (121RN).
These organizations represent more than 150,000 nurses, professional hospital employees, doctors, and lab technicians that are advocating for better patient care and safe conditions for workers and patients.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of healthcare professionals in the State of California,” said Kassakhian in a statement. “I will fight to improve patient care, and to ensure that our healthcare professionals are working in a safe environment.”
