HUNGER STRIKE IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 1.5 MILLION VICTIMS OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
OBJECTIVE: As the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles nears its 10th Anniversary it has failed to properly recognize and commemorate the first genocidal act of the 20th century – the Armenian Genocide. With this hunger strike–the Armenian Youth Federation of Western America urges the Museum of Tolerance to include a major permanent exhibit on the armenian genocide by april 24th–2004–to be stated by a written contract before the hunger strike is brought to an end.
