(PanARMENIAN.Net)–Iran’s Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi will be discussing the building of an Iran-Armenia gas pipeline during an official visit to Kiev–which began on Tuesday.
The Russian Novosti news agency reported that Iran has already expressed interest in employing Ukrainian companies to build the pipeline that would run through Armenia and Georgia to transport gas to Europe.
Political and economic cooperation between Iran and Ukraine–as well as humanitarian and regional issues–are expected to be on the agenda.
