MOSCOW (Armenpress)–The CIS countries’ Interparliamentary commission (IPC) and Interparliamentary Committee of Russia–Belarus–Tajikistan–Kirghizia and Kazakhstan will meet on November 23-24 in Saint Petersburg.
According to CIS IPC General Secretary Mikhail Krotov–the Speakers of national parliamen’s will take part in the session–and chairman of Russian Federal Council Egor Stroev–will preside over the meeting. Representatives of the OSCE Interparliamentary Congress–North Council–Council of Europe’s Interparliamentary Congress–European Bank of Development and Reconstruction will also attend the meeting.
The meeting will be focused on issues related to international terrorism and the possibilities of the creation of a coalition force to fight against this terrorism. A statement specifying the terms and specifics of the coordinated efforts of the parliamen’s from countries around the world to the fight against terrorism is expected to be approved as well.
The issues on terrorism will also be discussed during a closed meeting among the Armenian–Georgian–Azeri–and Russian Speakers
