STEPANAKERT—The Foreign Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic issued an announcement Thursday expressing its readiness to work with Robert Bradtke, the newly-appointed US Co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“We hope that the appointment of experienced diplomat, Robert Bradtke, as the US Co-Chairman of the OSCE MG testifies that the US will continue paying serious attention to the Azeri-Karabakh conflict resolution process and will promote the restoration of the negotiations’ full format in order that this process can advance and have positive results,” said the Karabakh Foreign Ministry statement.

Meanwhile, former OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Matthew Bryza said: “Ambassador Bradtke is a wise and experienced diplomat, as well as a personal friend of mine. I have every confidence he will pursue with his characteristic professionalism and skill, and wish him every possible success.”

“It is important for all our friends in the South Caucasus that the momentum in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process be sustained and lead to a framework for a final peace agreement as soon as possible. Ambassador Bradtke is well prepared to do so,” added Bryza.

Since when have we Armenians become such great friends of Mathew Bryza and his ilk? If Bryza and company are such wonderful friends of ours’ then why does he not first begin by working hard to establish proper recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the US congress?

And by proper recognition, I mean without the involvement of the ADL and that hypocrite Abraham Foxman that thinks the killing of Armenians was “tantamount to Genocide” rather then simply Genocide. I suppose all the Jews that died in WW II are to be dubbed victims of an event that was “tantamount to Holocaust or mass killings”?

Any group of people that take strides toward disrupting Armenian Genocide recognition after having themselves experienced systematic extermination are nothing but pathetic hypocrites, Abe Foxman is no exception. What’s the matter Abe? Afraid that for once the world spotlight will shift away from your tears of pain and onto an Armenian that’s been waiting for nearly 100 years? Or is it simply because you’ve convinced some folks that the life of one Jew is worth more than one Armenian and should be remembered with more diligence?

The momentum Bryza speaks of is the momentum towards national rights for Armenians with idiotic concessions to Turkey, and lots of oil and gas for Europe as well as the US.
