YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The chairman of the National Assembly of Karabakh Oleg Yesayan Thursday received the field aide to the OSCE Acting Chairman’s personal representative–Czech diplomat Miroslav Vumental at the request of the latter.
Yesayan reportedly appreciated the role of the OSCE mission in establishing peace and stability in the region and presented Karabakh’s position on the conflict settlement. Yesayan told the Czech diplomat about the legislative activities of Karabakh’s Parliament and spoke about the republic’s domestic life.
Vumental thanked the head of the supreme legislative body of Karabakh for the warm reception and presented the goals of the OSCE mission in the region. Vumental also told Yesayan that he had already worked in Baku–and has been working in Stepanakert for a month and would work in Yerevan for the same period of time.
Attending the meeting were the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations–Interparliamentary Relations and Information–Boris Aroushanian–and Karabakh’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Atajanian.
