A statement released by the Information and Press Department of Nagorno-Karabakh on Wednesday claimed that–on Monday–Armenia’s "Lraper" television news service reported a distorted version of the official statement released on that same day by the Nagorno-Karabakh government. Lraper aired a summarized version of the text–with significant contextual alterations which resulted in substantial changes in the meaning of the statement.
The Press Department statement explained that Lraper is televised nationwide and has potential to shape the nation’s opinion. The statement condemned Lraper for violating media ethics–as well as harming media in both Armenian countries.
