CLOVIS, Calif.—The Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School (CKACS) recently joined in the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign—the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC includes thousands of local campaigns throughout the country and overseas. Presently, the CKACS is the only Armenian non-profit in the entire CFC directory.
Even if a person is not a Federal employee, everyone can work toward the CFC’s success. All Federal civilian, postal, and military employees, including retirees, have an opportunity to choose from CFC charities and support the cause that matters most to them. Any federal employee or retiree can donate to the CKACS regardless of geographic location.
Federal employees are encouraged to search for the school in the CFC Charity List and pledge a portion of their salary to the CKACS using the I.D. code Armenian Community School CFC #23531. Your donation will support the next generation of Armenian-Americans and help preserve Armenian culture in the U.S.
Even if a person is a Federal employee, he or she can still help spread the word. Tell any Federal employee you may know (friends, family members, mailmen) to consider the CKACS as a charitable option.
In 2013 Federal employees contributed over $200 million dollars to CFC charities. The current campaign season ends in mid-December.
Support for the CKACS helps commemorate the 1915 Armenian Genocide by maintaining an excellent academic education and a strong Armenian language and culture program for Armenian-American children that keeps Armenian culture alive.
